Student life is the best one according to a lot of people. You don’t have to care about everything. All you have to do is focus on your studies and enjoy yourself with your friends. Everyone who is watching/reading this right now is either in grade 12th or the final year of their college. Let me tell you, your masters’ education will not be as fun as your college unless you meet the right people.
American university is an experience. It’s not just a college; it is much more than that. You would experience and see things which you have never seen before. Here is a picture of the star robot around Purdue these days delivering Starbucks drinks and sandwiches from Panera bread. If that doesn’t blow your mind, I don’t know what will.

I still remember the first day I joined Purdue. I came in a night before the orientation and saw that it was dark around the street. The weather was beautiful. Midwest summer is not a season; it is a complete vibe. It is something you will experience all across the north, east and west coast as well. For all the people going to Texas, Florida or Arizona for their education, wait until October when the weather is beautiful.

I woke up early and looked outside my window. So green, lush, and then there was the Wabash river in the backyard just flowing down so calmly. I got ready, ate a granola bar and as soon as I stepped out of my apartment, I took a deep whiff of the fresh air. I can’t describe how I felt that day. Fresh, motivated and ready to go. I walked to the college with beautiful blue skies above me and the sky so bright; it’s brighter than the future.

Over two years, I came across many people, made some great friends and learnt a lot. Late-night studies and impromptu plans on the weekend made the college experience even better. The United States is enormous. So the weather might be hot in Arizona but cold in Minnesota. Florida is the perfect vacation spot during February spring break when Midwest and New York is freezing to death. Here is a picture of the weather at -40C. You cannot possibly imagine being in this kind of weather. It’s an experience altogether. I don’t know if I’ll survive that kind of weather now, but I did initially for sure.

To cheap travels, cheaper alcohol and the best resources in college. With one of the biggest gyms and Olympic sized pools, it’s something which makes you go. Wow! What have I gotten myself into?
